Would we be Killed?

The Native Americans where being lied to and having there children taken away because the U.S. didn't like the Native people were like there culture. " Ota Kte's father had told him that this white soldier was taking children to school in the East. But Ota Kte was sure the white man had tricked his father." "The solider was U.S. Army captain Henry Pratt. And he believed that he was saving Ota Kte." The results are that the white people thought that by taking children away from there family they would change there life style so people later on started knowing that there culture would be changed so the kids started rebelling against there commander I would say.

I think the purpose for writing Shanice essay is that she gets to tell people is the real truth of her culture. She explained how they some what recycle by using the animals manure for fertilizing the soil. Also that she as a native American is only apart of 0.7 percent of people in her reservation go to college with her. Some things you know is that people you known from kindergarten follow you up till high school and maybe even up to college I thought that was cool but somewhat boring because you get to know those people for basically your whole life. Lots of things from this essay really got me interested to want to learn more about native people and there cultures and life styles and what type of food they eat.

The book I read “A House Night Novel Marked” . I feel like Zoey needs a little push on her conference level. Because she is has a lot of people she can lean on for help if she needed some. But the only person she is going to  to talk is her grandma cause she feels like thats the only person she can trust with out being judged. I think Zoey became more aware of who she can and can’t trust cause of her old family. She really never felt loved so I thinks its really hard for her to trust others.

The book I read is “A House of Night Novel Marked”. Yes i did like this book cause it had a lot of emotions in it like when they said he ran away it was something that Zoey felt was right but knew she was going to have much more consequences in the future. I also liked how they describe the school how it belong to the people like the Cherokee. And people who had lots of powers in the blood line. Or also people who have been marked just like Zoey.

I  predict that Zoey will have all these different powers and that she wont be able to control them at first. But then she go to her grandma for help. And ends up making fun of Aphrodite. And that Aphrodite will wash to have revenge on Zoey. And that Erik asked Zoey out and Aphrodite will get more mad.

What I found interesting was that Zoey was a very powerful person. And that she didn't even know until she told her grandma to explain it to Zoey. And about how she even has powers to take out people who are just as power full as her. In  the book she is afraid about how to take out people with out hurting them to death. Aphrodite was the first she took out. I like how all of a sudden she felt great and confident with when doing the spell that her grandma told her.

Tolerance

Tolerance-  the ability or willingness to allow the existence, occurrence, or practice of something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with.


I can be more tolerant of others by respecting there word choices. To me tolerance mean to respect others. I can live a more tolerant life by respecting others choices with out any choices.  I was intolerance about people who always said the word "retard or your so gay" those word always broke my heart because other people  don't know who may times those people who are are lgbt or who have disabilities they are the exact same person just with a different believe and just disablities people are sick its not there fault fr being sick but it doesn't give no right for people to make fun of them just because they might be phisiaclluy disable or mentally WE ARE A HUMAN BEING. I do stand up to people who are being bullies to the lgbt and disable kids.

The book I read is called “A House Of Night Novel Marked” by P.C. Cast + Kristin Cast. Something I predict will happened is that Zoey will not be very nice to the people at her new school. Most people also might not like her because she sort of has an attitude. But since she is going though a time where most of her family doesn't really like her because she go marked.  I think that her parents are being very selfish about there way being against there child plus Zoey doesn't really like her step father because he is younger and makes her mom think bad of Zoey. “Get behind me, Satan!” he quoted in what I like to think of as sermon voice. I sighed “it’s not Satan. It’s just me” Now is not the time for  sarcasm, Zoey, “Mom said “I’ll handle this hon” step-loser said, patting her shoulder absently before he turned his attention back to me. “I told you that your bad behavior and you attitude problem would catch up with yo. I’m not even surprised it happened this soon”. From what happened it seem that the dad is taking over. And that they dont even let her explain what really happened.

The book I read is called “Katy Perry From Gospel Singer to Pop Star” by: Nadia Higgins. I did find out some thing that caught my attention while reading this book. I never knew that Katy Perry dad was a pastor at a church and that she loved to be in the churches singing group. Or that she had only on sister and one brother. I also learned that Katy like to wear a lot of outfits that had to do with candy which is ok. I did like the new facts i found out about Katy Perry.

The book I read is called “Katy Perry From the Gospel Singer to the Pop Star” by: Nadia Higgins. I wonder if she will ever become a mother because she is already in her 30 years. I did not read this in the book but this some facts that I already knew about her. Will she ever get married again? Can people write a bout that is updated to now a days.

The book I am reading is called “Katy Perry from Gospel singer to Pop Star” by; Nadia Higgins. I did like this book. Why well cause it talked a lot about her past. But what i didn't like was that it really didn't talk about her present. So most of her life was old times from 2007 to like 2012. But overall i did like the book.
