The book I read was called "The Juvie There" by Gordon Korman. I chased to read this book because its like a really life situation that some kids can relate to. I like to read books that have to do with real live situation. It also was a recommend book by my sister she told me that if i don't stop giving attitude and stop getting in trouble by other people this can happened so i think thats also why i chased this book cause i want to read about a real life situation about what can happened.
Somethings i disliked was how the author would write and they setting would completely change and i would get really confused. I think if they explain the setting and who's talking. Than that would help me more onto figuring out what's actually happening but if they don't explain than i think that i would of left the book along time ago. But over all I think the author needs to work a bit more on explaining the setting and who's talking.

The book I'm reading is called "The Juvie Three" by Gordon Korman. So far the book is about these three guys who are teens and are like the bad boys of there crew. At a very young age they all have been to juvie but they thought they were not going to have another chance but when they did have another chance. They were only get the second chance if they did every little thing together. Like go everywhere together and they will have to show that they can change to do there best. And throughout the book you notice the change of the guys.
I do like this book because it some what shows the reality of life to kids who do lots of bad stuff like the alternative kids. I think that by reading this book it made me think of my actions that i did over all my middle school years. I think that kids who are always getting in trouble don't know how to let people in. May thats how the three guys start and ended up opening themselves to Mr.Douglas Healy who made all the boys change. I think that people just have to open up and talk. But over all I did like the book because it shows you how teenagers who have been to juvie are after words and before

The book I read was call "The Categorical Universe Of Candice Phee". I think that the theme of this book is never to really judge the people because you are just judging them by was everyone is saying. Candice was a nerd of the school and she did get pick on. But in her writing class her teacher told the class they would get a penpal. Candice at first didn't really like to talk about what the kids at school did to her at first but sooner ended up opening her self to the penpal. And it was a great thing because since the her new pal was a girls to she could talk to her about things and her pal said that she the people who bully Candice are not deserve Candice's kindness. Candice really did take the advice a good way cause most time she stood up for her self in school.
The book I read "The Categorical Universe Of Candice Phee". I thought that this book was an ok book. Why? Well because I thought the book was to simple. It was some problems but they got fixed right away. I think that the book needed some more character, that and they could of talked abot the chareacters life. Or even Point Of View. OR they could of added some of the Candice life in a sort of romance way like they could say who she liked or something like that. I just think that the book need more big conflicts.

The book I'm reading “The Categorical Universe of Candice Phee”. I think that Candice has a mind of teenagers when it comes to thinking of the real life problems but also chokes around. Like she might have questions but always finds away to ask why. “I thought about the word mature. Could a trust fund behave childishly. Could it blow raspberries, chant silly rhymes, and throw tantrums? Did it then find a job.get married, and take out mortgages? I shook my head. I get these kinds of thoughts a lot.” The thing that impressed me in this chapter was that Candice know the meaning for some big words that parents adults would use and you would expect a little girl to know the meanings.
The book I'm reading “The Categorical Universe of Candice Phee”. I think that the task that Candice has to do with Jen will get Candice more bullied. Why? Well because Either way Candice thinks that they are both friends that is not true. “Candice Phee, you will be paired with Jennifer Marshall.” I smiled. I like Jen I turned in my chair to share my smile. Jen looked like she’d swallow a wasp. She open her mouth (to protest, I imagine) but, probably because she also chose that moment to take a sharp intake of breath, her chewing gum lodged in the back of her throat, causing her complexion to change to an interesting shade of blue.” By the way she was even partnered put with people makes me think that other people don't like her and she they try to get close to Candice they will break her or embarrass her in front of people.

The book Im reading is called “The Categorical Universe of Candice Phee”. Some thing I didn't like was how the book started off with her in school and how she was a nerd. May be if they had describe the school a bit more. And with what was going on than probably it would make a reader feel more like in the book. And like they were a character in it. I think also that the characters needs to have a big part in the book. Like the Candice should write about how she feels a school nerd. But other wise then that i think the setting and character were sort of bad.
I keep wondering about how Candice is going to write all those paragraphs with out being distracted on something else of her life. And how she is going to organize on not going in to something extra that doesn't belong in her paragraphs. I think if she write a list of all things she is going to write about and just have some extra as back up if she cant complete her first choice. And after that she can organize them from a-z it would be much easier to do. Cause I think it would be easy to do it like that

Would we be Killed?
The Native Americans where being lied to and having there children taken away because the U.S. didn't like the Native people were like there culture. " Ota Kte's father had told him that this white soldier was taking children to school in the East. But Ota Kte was sure the white man had tricked his father." "The solider was U.S. Army captain Henry Pratt. And he believed that he was saving Ota Kte." The results are that the white people thought that by taking children away from there family they would change there life style so people later on started knowing that there culture would be changed so the kids started rebelling against there commander I would say.
I think the purpose for writing Shanice essay is that she gets to tell people is the real truth of her culture. She explained how they some what recycle by using the animals manure for fertilizing the soil. Also that she as a native American is only apart of 0.7 percent of people in her reservation go to college with her. Some things you know is that people you known from kindergarten follow you up till high school and maybe even up to college I thought that was cool but somewhat boring because you get to know those people for basically your whole life. Lots of things from this essay really got me interested to want to learn more about native people and there cultures and life styles and what type of food they eat.

The book I read “A House Night Novel Marked” . I feel like Zoey needs a little push on her conference level. Because she is has a lot of people she can lean on for help if she needed some. But the only person she is going to to talk is her grandma cause she feels like thats the only person she can trust with out being judged. I think Zoey became more aware of who she can and can’t trust cause of her old family. She really never felt loved so I thinks its really hard for her to trust others.
The book I read is “A House of Night Novel Marked”. Yes i did like this book cause it had a lot of emotions in it like when they said he ran away it was something that Zoey felt was right but knew she was going to have much more consequences in the future. I also liked how they describe the school how it belong to the people like the Cherokee. And people who had lots of powers in the blood line. Or also people who have been marked just like Zoey.
